Hi, I’m Tori!
I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) with a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology — and someone who deeply believes in creating spaces where people feel safe to show up as their full selves.
I’m a therapist passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, navigate emotional barriers, foster better relationships, and reclaim their sexual agency. My goal is to help you live a life where you feel confident, empowered, and truly at peace with who you are. Whether we’re working one-on-one, in a group, or through one of my workshops, my approach is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your emotions and desires without shame.
As a sex and communication researcher, I bring a combination of evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a deeply empathetic, trauma-informed approach to help you unlock the tools you need to thrive. I understand that discussing sex, relationships, and personal growth can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make sure you feel empowered, no matter where you’re starting from.
Like many of my clients, I’ve had to overcome obstacles in my own life.
My journey has made me deeply passionate about helping others find their power. Whether it’s through reclaiming sexual agency, overcoming emotional barriers, or building stronger relationships. I believe everyone deserves to feel whole, confident, and authentic, and I’m honoured to walk alongside you in this process.
A Little About Me
When I’m not helping clients break through emotional blocks or reclaim their sexual agency, you’ll probably find me trying (and occasionally failing) to learn how to ice skate. It’s a work in progress, but the process is fun, and that’s how I approach life—embracing the journey, even when it’s a little messy. 😊
I’m passionate about trying new recipes (nothing beats delicious food, right?), getting swept away by a good book, and spending time outdoors. Whether it’s going to the beach or taking my cat for a walk (yes, she’s leash-trained!), I love being active and connected to nature.
I also believe in the power of deep, meaningful connections, which is why I spend time with my cat, friends, family, and meeting new people. Living with an open heart is important to me, and I bring that energy into my work. Healing doesn’t have to be all serious business—it can be playful, lighthearted, and filled with moments of growth and joy.

Speaking & Media
Featured Presentations
I don’t just talk about growth in the therapy room; I bring those conversations out into the world, too. From national conferences to community spaces and creative events, I love diving into the topics that push our boundaries a little: Sexual confidence, self-worth, desire, and what it really means to show up as your full, messy, and magnetic self.
Whether I’m speaking to therapists, artists, or anyone curious about connection, my approach is always the same — a mix of research, real talk, and a healthy dose of humour. Because these conversations don’t have to feel clinical or heavy — they can be bold, human, and even a little fun.
Here are a few places I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my voice:
- 🎓 Discovering Women’s Sexual Agency: A Qualitative Approach to Understanding Sexual Agency Factors
Snapshot Presentation – Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) 82nd Annual National Virtual Convention, June 2021
A research presentation exploring how women experience and express sexual agency — and why that matters for confidence and connection.
- 💖 Reclaiming Confidence and Self-Worth
Ottawa Ostomy Support Group – Virtual Presentation, November 2022
A supportive conversation about self-esteem, body image, and embracing your worth — helping everyone find confidence, identity, and self-compassion, no matter your journey.
- 💬 Sexual Agency in Brief Treatment Settings
Presentation for Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) Counsellors – November 2023
Exploring how clinicians can support clients in reclaiming sexual agency, desire, and self-trust in short-term counselling contexts.
- 🎨 Beyond the Lens: Creating Self-Compassion for Creative Minds
Featured Speaker – November 2025 (Upcoming)

Whether it’s on a stage, behind a mic, or in a workshop space, my mission is the same — helping people feel confident, connected, and unapologetically themselves.
Curious about where else you can join me for deep conversations, learning, and growth?
